Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says an arrest has been made in connection with some recent school bomb threats. Sheriff Lutz says Thursday at 2 p.m. a 16-year-old John Glenn High School student was taken into custody. On August 30th and 31st John Glenn High School had to be evacuated due to the bomb scares. Detective say the first time someone had scribbled a threat on the wall of a boys bathroom. Then the next day a student discovered a fake bomb. That forced the school to be locked down and the Franklin County Bomb Squad was called to detonate the device. No explosives were found, but there was a detonation device discovered. Sheriff Lutz says the case is being turned over to Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox and the student could be charged with inducing panic and possession of a hoax device. The 16-year-old, who’s name was not released,  is being held in the Muskingum County Juvenile Detention Center.
