We’re down to the wire for those that haven’t yet registered to vote.

October 9, the Board of Elections will be open until 9p.m. to give everyone time to register and cast their ballots. Saint Paul A.M.E. on Pine Street is providing transportation to the Board of Elections for anyone anyone needing to register or vote.

"We do not care who you’re supporting," said Organizer Kathy Brantley. "We would just like the community to have an opportunity to do so."

The church, through the organization Community of Voices, will provide free child care and food. Brantley said making your voice heard is important.

"We’re United States citizens. We should take pride in casting our vote. That was one reason why we want the community to feel engaged and this in an opportunity to do so," said Brantley.

Transportation from St. Paul A.M.E. to the Board of Elections takes place Tuesday from 4p.m to 8p.m.
