An investigation by the Muskingum County Drug Task Force and Zanesville Police leads to raids on two homes.
Zanesville Police Captain Tony Coury said that before 11p.m. Tuesday the SWAT teams from both agencies entered homes at 1227 Elm Street and 148 Beulah Avenue.
"They did find a little bit of drugs and some drug paraphernalia. Nobody was arrested," said Captain Coury. "There were three people found inside the Elm Street house and five people inside the Beulah house along with a small child."
Captain Coury said the raid came as a result of an investigation.
"I think they actually bought drugs from one individual and that trail led to Elm and also led to Beulah," explained Coury.
Once the investigation is concluded Captain Coury said they’ll consult the Muskingum County Prosecutor to discuss charges.
