The Muskingum County Community Youth Foundation is holding its annual coat drive to keep kids and adults warm during the cold winter months.

This is the 5th year for coat collection. All coats go to Eastide Community Ministry and the Salvation Army for distribution.

"We have a list of at least 30 people, 30 kids and adults. we have twice as many girls than boys, so we need a good bit of coats." explained CYF President, Madison Smith.

Monetary donations will also be accepted to help purchase hats, gloves, and scarves. Blankets will also be accepted.

"A lot of these kids and people in general, they don’t have any coats, and they’ll be really cold this winter, and we just want to be able to help them out." said Langdon Thomas, CYF Communications Chair.

The Foundation is in need of all coat sizes, from children’s extra small through adult extra-large.
