The Zanesville High School Drama Club will present a holiday show to help the less fortunate.
On December 8th the drama club along with the Zanesville Jazz Band and the high school choir will showcase their talents in a holiday performance. Tickets are available with the donation of a new or gently used coat or non-perishable food item. All collected items will be donated to the Salvation Army.
"It’s coats and cans that’s the title the kids actually created that last year and we’re continuing with the same title this year. Coats Can Make a Cozy Christmas it’s a play on words and Riesbeck’s being one of the sponsors of the canned food drive and it’s also a collection point for the coats," said Drama Club Instructor, LeAnne Bader-Mock
This is the second year for the presentation. The drama club students wrote the entire show which will include solos, duets and group performances.
"A lot of them have worked and looked forward to this all year to be able to put these things together that are around the holiday. Not necessarily all traditional, some of them have just a little twist for the show," said Bader-Mock.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. at Zanesville High School.
