The Longaberger Company is seeking companies to move into their 700 acre business park.

Longaberger President Tami Longaberger said the East Central Business Park will be located in buildings that lay behind its popular Homestead that sees over 100,000 visitors a year. Port Authority Executive Director said the area is ideal for business due to its closeness to the four lane State Route 16.

"What they got near Frazeysburg is the ground is flat, the infrastructure has all ready been built. We’re right next to a highway and so it’s a already made business park."

The East Central Business Park operates as a non profit. There are 1.7 million square of industrial space under the roof of the park, consisting of five light manufacturing and distribution facilities. Leasing or selling these buildings does not mean that Longaberger is leaving our area.

"They got more space than they need. If they can reduce some sort of that overhead they can be a healthier business," explained Jacoby. "We look for them to be in the community a long time."

Fanatics Incorporated one of the world’s leading on-line retailers of officially licensed sports merchandise already calls the business park home. Jacoby said they also sent out information Monday to a company that may be interested in locating in area.
