Rodriquez Hampton Sentenced To Prison

A Zanesville man charged in two separate cases and facing multiple charges is sentenced Monday.  The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says 28-year-old Rodriquez Hampton who was charged with possession of drugs and having a weapon while under disability in one case and attempted kidnapping, aggravated burglary and domestic violence in the other received 4 years in prison by Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill.  Hampton and a co-defendant were arrested by authorities this past summer at 170 and a half Brighton Boulevard where investigators say they recovered crack cocaine, handguns and a large sum of cash.  The Prosecutor’s Office says Hampton was also charged in connection with an assault in March at a home on Homewood Avenue.
