Project Runway Season ten fashion designer Nathaniel Paul made a stop in Zanesville Sunday, but he is no stranger to the area.

Son of C.A.S.S./M.I.N.D. Academy CEO Cassandra McDonald, Paul was born and raised in Zanesville. Sunday at the Buckingham House, a New York style runway show was held to kick off Zanesville’s own Project Runway Ohio, which will take place in April.

"What it’s going to involve is the challenge of Project Runway for beginners, intermediate, and advanced." said McDonald. "So they will come and bring their wears and be chosen in those categories. We’ll have a fashion show each time with their category."

McDonald says a fashion show is a great way to bring together the three main focuses of the C.A.S.S./M.I.N.D. Academy, business, art, and music.

"There are a lot of creative people in Zanesville, and even though I’m not in Zanesville I’m still a part of this community, and I think it’s a good way of bringing exposure to the artistic point of view that the city has, and that it can develop into." said fashion designer Nathaniel Paul.

Paul will make a trip back to the Y-Bridge city in April once "Runway Ready" of Zanesville is underway. If you would like to be involved, you can call 1-888-204-4277
