Two men were arrested following a search of two homes in Perry County.
On Friday, detectives with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force and deputies from the Perry County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 105 West Gay Street in Somerset.
Detectives seized items used to manufacture drugs at the home. Evidence discovered from the scene led detectives to 132 South Main Street in Glenford where detectives located two men actively manufacturing methamphetamine in a garage. The two men were arrested and transported to the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail in Nelsonville. Their names are not being released at this time pending formal charges. A third male was escorted from the scene, questioned by detectives and later released.
The investigation into both labs continues however detectives believe they have arrested those responsible for both of the labs at Gay Street as well as South Main Street.
This was the second search warrant executed at the Gay Street residence. The previous search occured on December 4th, after the Somerset Fire Department was dispatched to the address regarding a trash fire and located lab making materials.
