Crooksville High School was lockdown Thursday…but there is no reason being given by school officials. Principal Casey Coffee says they “had a situation” and “some reports” and a decision was made to lock down the high school. Coffee says it was “not about danger” and it lasted about 20 minutes. Coffee says the Perry County Sheriff’s Office and the Crooksville Police were called in to investigate the incident. Chief Brent Tysinger says an allegation was brought to the schools attention which resulted in a search. Chief Tysinger says nothing was found, but the incident is still under investigation. Tysinger says he cannot yet release any other details.
