For any last minute shoppers, Colony Square Mall has conveniently extended it’s hours even more for this last week of Christmas shopping.

The hours at the mall today through December 22nd will be pushed back to 11 PM. This is one more hour longer than last week and two more than regular mall hours.

Kevin Pinson, The Colony Square Mall’s Marketing Coordinator explained, "We offer extended hours because this is a very busy time of the year. People have a lot in their schedule besides work and school, there are the programs at church and other activities going on. So the later we are open the more convenient it is for the customer. "

According to Pinson, the traffic at the mall is up this year as well as the generosity of our community. The mall has always teamed up with the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Benefit and this year the amount of gifts donated is extraordinary.

"We are very excited about our partnership with the Angel Tree, which we have been doing since the mall opened in 1981. This year, you know, I have been here ten years and I have seen more toys come to our office than I have ever seen before. So that’s a great feeling, " said Pinson.

On Christmas Eve the mall closes at 6 PM. For further details, hours and special deals at Colony Square Mall, visit their website.
