Granville Woman Killed In Accident

by George Hiotis on December 12, 2012

A Granville woman is dead after an early Wednesday morning accident.  The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Lisa Marie Kelleher was driving west on Moots Run Road when she failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by a semi traveling north on State Route 37.  Troopers say the driver’s husband, a front seat passenger, is listed in stable condition at Grant Medical Center in Columbus.  The Patrol says the driver of the semi, 49-year-old Mark Hoover of Thornville, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.  State Route 37 was closed for four hours while crews cleaned up the accident site.  The accident, which happened just before 5 a.m. remains under investigation.
