Red Cross Classes

Helping others this holiday season can be as easy as taking a class.

In an effort to promote their health and safety program the Muskingum Valley Chapter of the Red Cross is offering a discount on their CPR and first aid classes as well as their relief kits. The classes are available to workplaces, communities and health care providers. Executive Director Marlene Henderson says it’s never too late to get prepared for a potential emergency.

"Anytime of year is a great time to take a CPR or first aid class but right now with the holidays, with people traveling and the get togethers and large crowds, you never know when something is going to happen," said Henderson

The Red Cross also wants to remind the public the good they can do by donating blood this holiday season.

"Holiday times tend to be very busy and the more people that can go out and roll up their sleeve, it is critical at this time of year as it is all the time," said Henderson.
