The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area from 5 a.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday. The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that since 12 a.m. Ohio Department of Transpiration Crews and Zanesville City crews have been pre-treating area roads in anticipation of today’s snow, ice and other wintery conditions. A major winter storm will be moving through Southeast Ohio for your Wednesday. A wintry mix and heavy snow will be with us for the majority of the day, with snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches possible by the end of the afternoon across the region.
