Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says four area residents have been charged in connection with this week’s home invasion and burglary in Dresden.
Sheriff Lutz says it happened early Thursday morning at 801 Canal Street. The victim was assaulted and a vehicle was stolen.
Prosecutor Mike Haddox has charged 30-year-old Adam Poulton of Zanesville with two counts of aggravated robbery, felonious assault, theft and having a weapon while under disability. 23-year-old Chad Bocook of Avondale is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and felonious assault. 29-year-old Joseph Roth of Zanesville is facing two counts of aggravated robbery, felonious assault and theft and 27-year-old Amy Johnson of Dresden is facing two counts of aggravated robbery and theft.
"The victim did know the suspects, might say the suspects knew who the victim was, it was not a random deal, " Sheriff Lutz.
The victim, who was not identified, suffered serious, but not life threatening injuries and is being treated at a Columbus hospital.
