The official visitors guide for Zanesville and Muskingum County is hot off the press
Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce creates the annual guide with information promoting travel to our city and county. 100,000 copies have been distributed to hotels, travel centers, and other attractions across the state of Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Michigan.
Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce, Kelly Ashby said, "our guide is full of information about attractions, the museums, the wilds, things to do, restaurants , places to stay and the arts and also some fun facts about Muskingum County and how we got started and some great history information in here as well."
Every year the guidebook features Longaberger and The Wilds, plus a new element 200 years history exploring John and Annie Glenn and The National Road.
"We try to do some new information each and every year, give it a little bit of a new look but a lot of the same great info for how to travel and how to plan your travel to Muskingum county. Also the 2013 calendar of events, some of the highlights. Not all of the events because there are so many events that take place in Muskingum County."
Ashby says she is very pleased with the new look and if you are interested you can call the Chamber of Commerce, stop by the Welcome Center or visit their website.
