The House of Grace Church will be hiding 10-thousand Easter eggs filled with candy this Saturday at their first Easter egg hunt.

About 30 church members put together the Easter eggs and will hide them around the nine acres of land in the front yard of the church on Saturday. The Easter egg hunt is for kids of all ages and will take place at 2960 Maysville Pike.

"We’ve got over ten-thousand eggs and the people have to get out here and let the children pick them up and take them home with them so I’m hoping we’re going to have a great crowd," said Pastor Joe Dunlap.

There will be free food including hot dogs and drinks for people starting at 11 a.m. The Easter egg hunt will start at 12:30 p.m. and goes until 2 p.m. There will also be coloring contests and games for the kids. Dunlap wants to let the community know about the new church and says anyone is welcome to become a member.

"If they don’t have a home church or somewhere to go, we’d love to have them come to The House of Grace Sunday at 10:30 a.m."
