A Chandlersville man charged in connection with a stabbing incident last month appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.  29-year-old Chad Brill pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to one count each of attempted murder, felonious assault, possession of criminal tools and aggravated burglary.  The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says on February 20th deputies were called to 165 Sundale Road in Norwich after multiple calls to 9-1-1 reporting yelling and screaming.  Officers discovered a female who had suffered a cut wound.  Her name has not been released, but she lives at the Sundale residence.  Judge Kelly Cottrill continued Brill’s bond at $500,000.  He’s being held in the Muskingum County Jail.
