Customer Service Seminar

The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is providing a free customer service seminar to local businesses looking to improve their customer’s experience.

"We’ll be talking about effective communication, first impressions, non-verbal and verbal skills. So just a lot of things will be covered and again it’s great for new employees, it’s great for employees that have been there for quite a while but just need that refresher course," said Kelly Ashby, ZMCCC VP.

The workshop will also cover understanding behavior and teamwork. It is open to any type of business that meets and greets the public in person, on the phone or through email. Ashby says it’s a great opportunity for employees to enhance their skills.

"It’s a great way to refresh yourself, have your employees get rejuvenated about customer service. It is so important for everyone to think about how they meet and great the clients and the customers that walk in their front door."
