There will be a free showing of the independent documentary, "Fracknation" at the Zanesville-Muskingum County Welcome Center this weekend. The event is sponsored by the Zanesville Tea Party Patriots who have worked with 60 other groups around Ohio to provide the opportunity for people to see the documentary. The Patriots say they hope this free showing will clear the air about fracking in Ohio.

"On March 9th, 9:30 a.m., it’s open to the public, it’s free. We’re going to show Fracknation, it’s a documentary that has been done by two journalists and they’ve done an outstanding job on sorting out the facts," said Zanesville Patriots President, Kay Clymer.

Fracking drills thousands of feet into the Earth’s surface, extracting oil and gas. The 77 minute documentary investigates the practice.

"There’s lots and lots of information, very good information that’s got lots of footnotes to it, so it’s just somebody’s opinion, there’s documentation behind it. "
