Two Muskingum County Sheriff’s Department officer’s developed an idea to make their job easier and more efficient. Justin Thompson and Tim Maheney, owners of "T+M Tactical" have designed the "Tactical Light Glove." The flame-resistant gloves have LED lights sewn into them to give people visibility while keeping their hands available to perform other tasks. The gloves are proudly made in America and will be used by law enforcement officers, the military and hunters.

"Well basically we use gloves for just about everything. It keeps body fluids and other things that we deal with off of our hands. It keeps us from cuts and what not. And having that light source, hands free, is what we feel will be a big help to the guys on the street and in the field," said Tim Matheney, owner of T+M Tactical.

The Light Glove is made of Nomex material and leather. The gloves has a built in pressure sensor and a mini USB port to recharge the lights. This is the first product offered from T+M Tactical. The company has other products in the works, including their hunting model that will be insulated with fleece and will have a Mossy Oak pattern.

"It’s been a lot of hard work and we’ve put a lot of time and effort into this. 7 days a week basically and it’s pretty humbling to know that something is starting to evolve and there’s a good chance that this might take off in the right direction that we’re looking for."

The gloves will be available for purchase on their website,, which launches tomorrow afternoon.
