New Hope Church will be expecting over 1000 people at their 6th annual "Restoration" service at Secrest Auditorium Friday and Saturday. The event is targeted towards middle school, high school, and college students. There will be six bands performing, vendors, concessions, and inspirational speakers discussing important issues.

"All the different things that teens kind of struggle with whether it’s direction, whether it’s the suicides that we’ve had in our community, depression, cutting, anger, unforgivingness, just the drinking, the drugs, sex, all the different things that young people deal with and face," said Adam King, New Hope Youth Pastor.

The doors open tonight at 6 p.m. and at 10 a.m. tomorrow and runs until 9:30 p.m. Tickets to the event are 25-dollars which gets you in and out of the event all weekend.

"We want to make sure that we do it right. We don’t want to just do some little presentation for the kids, we want to let it explode, let them know that we care about them. We’re putting a lot of time effort, time and energy, and no sleep and a lot of money into this. "

A few important guidelines to remember, no backpacks or coolers will be allowed at the event. You can go to www.wearetherestoration.com for more information.
