A Movie Night aimed at Raising Funds for a Foundation

A local foundation is rasing money by having a community event.

The Fieldhouse Foundation provides excersise and a social network for people with physical disabilities.

"They and their family are allowed to come in free of charge and excersise with the trainers so that they can become the best they can be with their disability," Director of the Fieldhouse Foundation, Sheryl Hartman said.

To pay for trainers and equipment that the organization needs, the Fieldhouse Foundation is having a family movie night. They will show Rise of the Gaurdians . The movie will be shown in the tennis court area of the fieldhouse.

"I’m excited to see the movie. My grandkids are coming from Pennsylvania to see it.. so I’m just excited to see the community come together and be able to help support the foundation and be able to support our peope with disabilities," Hartman said.

The event takes place Friday May 17th. Doors open at 7 o’clock and the movie start at 8 o’clock. They are asking that people bring sleeping bag,covers or blankets. No chairs. Prices range from free to two dollars. Food, inluding hot dogs, popcorn and cotton candy will be for sale.
