Over 200 musicians from all throughout central Ohio performed at the Coshocton High School’s McKinley Auditorium on Sunday.
"It features all three of our community choirs. The Coshocton Community Choir that’s in it’s 42nd season, the Children’s Choir, which is in it’s 26th season and a group of high school students who sing in the Coshocton Youth Corral. They come from four counties and so it’s our final hoorah," said Charles R. Snyder, founder and director of the Coshocton Community Choir.
"Make a Joyful Noise" was this years concert theme and the conductor says that Psalm 100 was the inspiration for the theme.
"I thought it described the variety of things were singing and all kinds and styles of music, something that should appeal to everyone."
Snyder says that they can always use room for new singers and if you’re interested in joining the choir, you can contact them at www.coshoctoncommunitychoir.org
