A traffic stop in Perry County leads to the discovery of a mobile meth lab.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office said it happened just after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
A sheriff’s deputy stopped a Ford Explorer on Dutch Ridge Road in Pike Township. The occupants of the vehicle were suspected to be involved in an aggravated assault that occurred earlier in the evening.
As a result of the stop deputies located 4 one pot style meth labs in the vehicle, along with other drug manufacturing equipment.
An adult male and female were arrested and are being held in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail on felony drug charges.
Their names aren’t being released, pending formal charges.
Both will appear in court early next week.
Agents with the central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force were called in to assist with the clean-up and the investigation.
