All businesses have one thing in common and that’s customers.
Tuesday the Chamber of Commerce and JK Evans and Associates held a free seminar to teach employers how to improve their customer service skills.
Consultant Jane Evans said that customers have many options on place to show and a good experience can bring them into your business.
"If you have good standards in place in terms of customer service and then you expect it from your employees and if they give that good customer service then those customers will come back and they’ll tell others about it as well," explained Evans.
Evans said businesses can provide great service in several ways.
"Number one is knowing your customer and knowing what they want and giving it too them," said Evans.
The biggest mistake employers make according to Evans is not realizing how important interactions with customers can be.
