The 17th Annual Tractor Show began on Monday at Colony Square Mall. The Old Steam and Gas Club of Dresden has over 40 old fashioned tractors on display along with antique toy tractors and farming tools.

"We’ve got the place full of antique tractors and other kinds of historical displays. Tools, engines, and we’re really pleased to be here, we’re trying to help the mall and we were in hopes to try and generate traffic and have folks come in who enjoy the old antiques," said Old Steam and Gas President, Tom Rollins.

Rollins says the Old Steam and Gas Club’s mission is to restore antique tractors to preserve agricultural history through education, tractor pulls and displays.

"We’re always glad to have the extra traffic that the tractor show brings but what I like best is for families to come out and see the history of our agriculture society. There’s a lot to learn by looking at some of these old restored tractors."

The tractors will be on display at the mall until Sunday.
