Riesbeck’s in downtown Zanesville is sponsoring the shopping spree event for the second year in a row. It raises money for Operation Feed and is set for Friday, May 24 at 8:30 a.m.

"It’s a 90-second shopping spree, you can purchase a ticket and if you are the lucky winner, you will be chosen to come into the store and you will be given a shopping cart and 90-seconds. You can go through the store and get as much as you can in your cart and it will be yours," said Keely Warden, Executive Director for Christ’s Table.

Tickets for the event are five dollars a piece or you can purchase three for ten dollars at either the Riebeck’s in downtown Zanesville or at Christ’s Table.

"We’d really like for people to get involved. It’s another way to help out Operation Feed. All the money raised through this event and all of the events we’ve done this year for Operation Feed will go to the 17 food pantries and the four hot meal programs that are part of the Muskingum County Hunger Network."

Warden says tickets are going fast and that they need to be in by next Monday.
