Three people are taken by MedFlight to the OSU Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash in Perry County.
The accident occurred around 7 p.m. on Pole Cat Road according to the Lancaster Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol .
Trooper Dixon says an SUV driven by Diane Dumaret, 51 of New Lexington was traveling eastbound on Pole Cat when a pick-up truck carrying four passengers and one person in the bed heading westbound began to drift into Dumaret’s lane.
Dumaret swerved off the right side of the road and the pick-up swerved left hitting the SUV head-on.
The driver of the truck Bobby Scott, passenger Vera Caylor and the man in the bed, Russel Roush were all taken by MedFlight to OSU with unknown injuries. Trooper Dixon said two children in the truck were also injured.
Dumaret was injured but was not transported.
The driver of the truck will be cited with failure to yield half the road way.
