The Zanesville Fire Department announces it will begin their annual hydrant flushing throughout the city starting Wednesday, May 15.
Officials said work will begin on the east end of town which will include parts of Underwood, Eastman and Hamline. Normal hours for maintenance will be 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Residents in the vicinity of flushing may experience discolored water and reduced pressure. It is advised to wait until at least 4p.m. for the water to clear before doing laundry.
