The community was able to view 36 rare classic cars at Coburn United Methodist Church today for the Lion’s Club annual car show.
"This is our 10th year for our annual car show and we have the car show to generate money for the Lion’s Club and to help people that need glasses that can’t afford them or an eye exam that they can’t afford," said Dave Delancey, President of the Zanesville Lion’s Club.
The Lion’s Club had a DJ, music, food and a silent auction to help raise money. Delancey says the club has a lot of other fundraisers throughout the year.
"We have a big steak dinner, we sell brooms, we have the car show here today and then we have a cheese sale."
Delancey says he hopes to raise $8-900 from Saturday’s car show.
