The opportunities to go bowling in the Zanesville area are starting to dwindle. In just a few days Maysville All-Star Lanes will be shutting down. Owner Allie Clarke – who has operated the center for 20 years and is 70 years old – is closing the bowling center after the last ball rolls down one of the lanes early Sunday morning. Clarke did not want to elaborate, but he did say that he is selling all the equipment inside the facility and it will not longer be a bowling center. Exactly what will happen to the property is unclear. There has been speculation that a Menards retail store would be built, but Clarke says that is not true. If you want to bowl one last time, Maysville All Star Lanes last day to be open is this Saturday night until 2:30 a.m.
