The Ohio Department of Transportation says they’ll close a section of State Route 146 southeast of Zanesville.
The roadwork will take place Monday June 3 and last for 70 days. The road will be closed at Three Towers Road located between Millers Lane and Wilhelm Road for the replacement of the Boggs Creek Bridge. The project also includes realignment work at the intersection of State Route 146 and Three Towers Road.
Motorists will be detoured south on State Route 146 to State Route 313, then east on SR 313 to SR 83, then north on SR 83 to I-70 west, then I-70 west to Exit 155 (SR 146-Zanesville exit).
Preparation work will take place Tuesday May 28 but will not affect traffic.
ODOT’s contractor for the $1.8 million project is Shelly and Sands Inc from Zanesville. Completion dates is set for August 2013.
