Music filled Zane Landing Park on Sunday.

The Zanesville Memorial Concert Band had their 2nd installment of the 2013 Summer Concert Series. Two of the band’s percussionists are also celebrating Father’s Day by playing together. Caitlin Coulson says she enjoys spending time with her father.

"It’s pretty cool because I am usually gone a lot and so it’s cool to be here and get to play with him on Father’s Day and see him and spend some time with him, " said Coulson.

Her father has always been a music lover and says he like to believe that he influenced her to choose drumming as her passion.

"When she started band she contemplated the trumpet, but then she fell in line and went percussion. We’re both happy for that, " said Coulson.

The Coulson’s spent the day at a BBQ earlier and then performed together later in the evening. If you didn’t make it to this week’s concert there will be three more concerts throughout the summer. The next one is on Sunday, June 30th at 7 p.m.
