445 Woodlawn Ave. in the Putnam Historic District is the new home of the Muskingum County Opportunity Center, now named, Ohio Means Jobs: Muskingum County. The new location is conveniently located in the same building as Jobs and Family Services, making it a one-stop shop for all of your needs.
"Our facility is newly remodeled so it’s nice and convenient for what we need for job seekers and employers. So we have a resource room that is still comparable to what we had on main street. Our Main Street location is now closed," said Justy Cordray, Job Developer at Ohio Means Jobs: Muskingum County.
Ohio Means jobs has 55 public access computers for job-seekers to use to build resumes and to search for employment. The organization also works with employers who are searching for new employees.
Cordray said, "We’re also letting employers come here and have in-house hiring events and rooms to interview people, that sort of thing. So we’re just kind of making the connection come together with the two."
If you need assistance finding for a job or help with your resume, Ohio Means Jobs is again located at 445 Woodlawn Ave. in Zanesville and is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
