Chuck Archer, a psychologist for Zanesville City Schools, is enjoying his break from school and spent his afternoon riding his bike all around Zanesville, trying to make up for the long winter we had and all of the time spent indoors.
"I just got into biking. I bought a bike at the end of last summer and really am enjoying it. This bike has way more speeds than what it used to last time I rode a bike. But it’s still a whole lot of fun," said Archer.
Jim Loye, who retired from the paint business and ventured into the food service industry just two years ago, will be spending his hot summer days serving the community some of his specialty dogs and burgers. He says sometimes the really hot weather slows down business but says there’s really no way to predict if he’ll be busy or not.
"It’s been a little slow, the heat sometimes slows them down, sometimes the rain will slow them down. But for the most part, we’ve been fairly busy today and we’re extremely busy yesterday and the weather’s about the same," said Loye.
Jim’s Burgers and Dogs is located on Linden Avenue in Zanesville but as with any food cart, his location sometimes changes.
