A Zanesville man charged in connection with a home invasion learned his sentence in court Monday.
Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill sentenced 30-year-old Adam Poulton to 16 years in prison on charges of aggravated robbery, felonious assault, theft and having a weapon while under a disability.
A jury found Poulton guilty last week of all charges that stemmed from a home invasion and burglary on Canal Street in Dresden in January of this year.
Authorities say the victim, who knew the suspect, was also assaulted and had a vehicle stolen.
Three co-defendants in the case are awaiting sentencing.
