Two Muskingum County residents charged in connection with a county wide crime spree appeared in court Wednesday.
Both 26-year-old Jason Wheeler and 23-year-old Laci Huffman pleaded not guilty to multiple charges which include theft, burglary, misuse of a credit card and breaking and entering.
Sheriff Matt Lutz says the crimes began on July 7th when the couple hit eight different locations from Gratiot to Blue Rock.
He says they stole two vehicles, license plates, electronics and other items.
Authorities arrested Huffman and Wheeler less than 24 hours after their crime spree began.
Both are being held in the Muskingum County jail on a $100 thousand bond.
