The John McIntire Library is already preparing for their fall programs and there’s something for everybody to participate in.

"We’re working on some exiting adult programs," said Blair Tom, Assistant Director of John McIntire Library. "An Ohio humanities speaker on the American presidents and their sense of humor in October. Today , we wind down the Cincinnati Children’s Theater who will be visiting us in December with a magician for family nights coming."

The library is also planning their fall storytime sessions and are offering a game night for teens. Tom says the programs the library offers adds value to Zanesville’s community.

"We feel we’re uniquely positioned to offer these kinds of opportunities and program," said Tom. "I also think that exposure piece for young people in particular, but then also the opportunity for adults to get together for a lecture or discuss a book, share craft, it really adds great value to muskingum county. "
