The Ohio Department of Transportation is closing both the eastbound and westbound lanes of Interstate 70 at 6 p.m. Wednesday night.
It will close just east of State Route 37 in Licking County to repair a downed power line. Eastbound lanes will be shut down a 1/2 mile east of SR 37. Westbound lanes will be shut down near the rest area located near mile marker 131.
You can take the eastbound detour by exiting at SR 37 to US 40 to SR 13 and then back to I-70. To take the westbound detour, exit at SR 13 to US 40 to SR 37 and back to 1-70.
The closure is expected to last until 6:45 p.m.
