Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz Monday released more details from Friday’s drug bust and the names of the suspects. Sheriff Lutz says Codey Starkey of 867 Grove Avenue and Jason Tate of 405 Liberty Street, both of Zanesville, each face multiple counts of possession of drugs and having a weapon while under disability. Lutz says they both have a criminal history. The Sheriff says Friday’s search warrant resulted in the recovery of 82 grams of cocaine, 8 grams of heroin, 50 vicodin pills, 5 Oxycontin pills, 3 Xanex pills and 6 Lorazepam pills. Lutz says deputies also recovered $2400 in U.S. currency, 4 handguns, and 7 rifles/shotguns. Lutz says five of the 11 guns had been reported stolen.
