The Lifelong Achievements of Bill Phillips

One of Zanesville’s most influential members passes away at 80 years of age.

William "Bill" Phillips was involved in more than 30 community organizations over his lifetime and received more than a dozen awards for his dedication to Zanesville and Muskingum County. Some of his most recognized accomplishments included the Cole and Thomas Lifetime Achievement Award, Tribute to Fatherhood Award and he also received more than four awards from the United Way celebrating his diligent work ethic. Words like Director, President, and Chairman were all familiar titles that Phillips once held throughout his lifetime. His legacy will be remembered for many years in our community.
