Antique Machinery Displayed at the Fair

The public took a step back in history to learn about antique machinery dating back to the 1890’s.

Bill Knupp is the owner of an internal combustion oil drilling and pumping machine named half breed that he brings to the fairgrounds every year. The name comes from the fact it works by using half internal combustion and half propane gas.

"It will run on natural gas, it will run on the propane that I have it running on now and it runs both directions or either direction," said Knupp.

Knupp says he enjoys telling the public about his machine that he bought from a farm show years ago.

" It’s just something different and it teaches the younger generation this is what life is all about, it teaches the younger generations what things were back when they were kids, their fathers and their grandfathers in the business making a living," said Knupp.

Knupp says that the machine is not an original ID, but still a very interesting piece of history from the past
