Family, friends, and supporters all rallied around a local girl from New Lexington who has recently undergone brain surgery.

Hannah Marie Wright found out at the age of six that she had epilepsy, a disease that often causes seizures. When she recently suffered from another seizure she was sent to the hospital, where doctors informed her that she had a cancerous tumor at the front of her brain.

"About a month ago I just got brain surgery, so 90 percent of it is gone and I have to go through radiation and chemo to get the 10 percent removed, " said Wright.

Although Hannah has struggled, she says that all the support she has received makes the diagnosis bearable.

" It’s awesome. I mean this is just like crazy. I have friends from like Indiana that have ordered shirts, there is someone from Canada that has ordered a shirt, Lee Brice sent a signed guitar, " said Wright.

The fundraiser will go towards Hannah’s medical bills and living expenses. Since the surgery, she is prohibited from working or driving. If you weren’t at the event you can still help Hannah by donating to her through Century National Bank.
