The Licking County Prosecutor said a former employee has filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against his office.
Prosecutor Kenneth Oswalt said in a press release that the claims are baseless and have been found so by both the county human resources department as well as by an independent outside investigator.
He also said the county risk sharing authority has agreed to defend his office and the county against the claims in the complaint.
At this time the EEOC has not completed its review of the claims.
The prosecutor said they’ve sent documents presenting their case to the EEOC and will cooperate with them fully.
