The Muskingum County Commissioner’s met with two representatives from Palmer Energy, who are also energy consultants for the County Commissioner’s Association. They discussed ways to save money and energy on some of the county-owned buildings.

"Also out there, are some opportunities through aggregation for residents and small businesses to get reduced rates also,"said Bill Bradish of Palmer Energy. "We also help the county with their facilities in helping them determine ways that they can save money on conservation."

Bradish says Perry Township in Muskingum County is already participating in the electric aggregation program through the County Commissioner’s Association and adds the county is already participating in the reduced electric rates program.

"The way we help them get reduced rates is we pull those with many of the other counties throughout the state to help get reduced rates "

The commissioners can decide on what they want to do at a later date.
