Two Zanesville men charged in connection with a drug bust last month were arraigned in court Wednesday.
According to the Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office, 28-year-old Codey Starkey and 33-year-old Jason Tate both pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of drugs, receiving stolen property, and having a weapon while under a disability.
Starkey and Tate were arrested on July 26th after the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Special Response Team conducted a search at an apartment on Clover Street.
Authorities recovered heroin, cocaine and prescription pills along with money and multiple weapons.
Starkey and Tate are both being held in the Muskingum County jail on a $250,000 bond.
