The Helen Purcell home is looking for a new administrator.
The Board of Trustees announced Tuesday that administrator Robert Moehrman is leaving after 30 years on the job. Moehrman took over at Helen Purcell in 1983. Under his direction the facility changed from women’s only to one that also accepted men and couples.
Moehrman also helped build the Garden Suites, Helen Purcell’s independent living apartments.
The Board of Trustees has named Drew McLandrich interim administrator. For the last four years McLandrich has served as a consultant at the facility. Prior to his work at Helen Purcell McLandrich served as vice president of Life Enriching Communities, a Cincinnati based not for profit retirement community.
A search for a new permanent administrator has begun.
