The Roots and Boots Tour featuring Sammy Kershaw, Aaron Tippin and Joe Diffie are coming to town November 16 and people lined outside Secrest at 8 a.m. Friday morning to get their tickets early.
"I think it’ll be very cool to see them all on stage at the same time," said Ryan Dodson of Rusty Guitar Promotions. "They have a song they did just for this tour called, all in the same boat now. You can see it on You Tube and it’s pretty neat. Just a unique experience to get to see three stars on the stage perform together, hanging out, cutting up and having fun."
Tickets range anywhere from $29-$65 and they’ve already sold several hundred.
"Etix.com and search roots and boots and it’ll pop up and you can snag the tickets right there online and there’s seating charts and you can pick out your seats. I was down at Secrest yesterday. I hadn’t been there for several years admittedly and it’s very, very nice. I went up on the balcony and honestly, there’s not a bad seat in the house."
A local band called Carson Drive will be opening the show and there will also be entertainment downstairs by the concessions beforehand.
