The club is bringing a fellow Rotarian and motivational speaker to town next month and they’re inviting the community. The topic will be, "How to interest someone in 15 seconds."

"The Noon Rotary Club of Zanesville is very excited to host one of our own. Rotarian from Troy, Michigan. His name is Michael Angelo Caruso," said Mollie Crooks, president of the club. "He is going to be in Ohio and he’s willing to share his gift of being a communication consultant with our group and the community."

Caruso has delivered motivational and education speeches to clients like Bank of America, Hallmark, Verizon Wireless, the US Navy and Nissan. Crooks says he is an expert in communications and specializes in teaching people how to be better speakers.

"We’re all sales people at some sort and for Rotary; it’s an organization that thrives on networking and community service. So we’re doing fundraising events, we’re doing projects, we’re also running our own businesses. So we believe that bringing an expert in like Mr. Caruso is going to enhance our Rotarian’s knowledge and education."

Caruso will be speaking on Tuesday, September 10 at Bryan’s Place. Reservations are required and you can make yours by calling Janice Tucker McCloud at 740-297-7565. The cost to attend the meeting is $10 and that includes lunch.
